Campylobacter Rules
This rulemaking proposes to reinstitute the reporting of Campylobacter to the Department of Public Health. The proposed amendments seek to add the method of reporting, time reporting requirements, disease-specific case control measures, and laboratory reporting requirements. The restitution of the reporting of Campylobacter will aid IDPH in the detection of cases, clusters, and outbreaks of campylobacteriosis in Illinois. - see attached Documents
This is a result of comments received regarding the sale of raw milk in Illinois to monitor disease associated with its consumption. Any comments please post here. Looks like they wish to take the proposed rules to the State Board of Health Rules committee on Nov 19, 2015 and than to the full State Board of Health on December 17, 2015. - Donnie
