Information presented at this meeting:
1. Illinois Dept of Agriculture has been working on a fire at a egg laying facility in Grant Park.
2. A flyer developed by McHenry Co. H.D. on Spray Misters at retail to prevent Legionella has been posted by IDPH on the portal.
3. AIMFES will be having a spring meeting in May in Bloomington. Agenda being developed.
4. Food Code Rulemaking Update: Has been approved by JCAR, waiting on formal adoption in the Illinois Register to see finished version.
5. Changes are occurring with the vendor providing the inspection technology being offered by IDPH so it is not being offered to additional LHD's, those who expressed interest are being contacted.
6. Memo sent out by IDPH regarding New San Training.
7. Monthly webinar for LHD's has been well received and will continue.
8. No EH chief named yet.
9. Local Health Protection Workgroup is drafting changes to the Local Health Protection rules for all programs.
